Abstract
The use of terminals as an aid for a variety of organizational processes is growing. This study suggests some simple techniques and guidelines for assigning the proper number of terminals. An important finding has to do with the sensitivity of the operation cost to the number of terminals; operation cost is much more sensitive to a lack of, rather than a surplus of terminals.
