N2 - This paper presents a new stability analysis of Networked Control Systems (NCSs), where data packet dropouts and constant network-induced delays are taken into account. Improved stability conditions for NCSs are derived in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs) by using a novel augmented time-dependent Lyapunov functional. Two numerical examples are given to show that the proposed method is efficient and less conservative than the existing results in the literature.
