Abstract

Papoulis and Gerchberg (PG) proposed an iterative algorithm for the extrapolation of an analog band-limited signal from a given finite segment of it. The PG algorithm is known to be very slowly convergent. In this paper we propose a modification to the PG algorithm, which results in accelerated convergence. The speed up of convergence is demonstrated.
