N2 - A facial weight-change simulator is presented. It is intended for use in the evaluation of self-perception distortion of Anorexia Nervosa (AN) patients. Processing begins with the extraction of the face from the background. Using minimal user intervention, the face is then divided into regions characterized by different weight-change patterns. A mathematical transformation that models growth and shape modification in living organisms is applied to each region. Finally, a unified color face image is generated, in which the face appears fatter or thinner as intended.
