Abstract
Six epidemiological surveys assessing the use of alcoholic beverages among Jewish adolescents in Israel between the years 1976-1986 are presented. The findings indicate a slight rise in the incidence and growth in the prevalence of alcohol consumption among Israeli adolescents during this period. The relationships between alcohol consumption and several socio-demographic variables are discussed.
