Abstract

The presented brief review is devoted to the state of the art in additive manufacturing for the needs of gynecology and obstetrics applications. It is demonstrated that in spite of the limited reported data in this field the number of works is growing simultaneously in several directions: 3D prototyping for medical education; 3D printing for gynecology and gynecological oncology surgery planning; additive manufacturing of patient-specific tools and gynecologist's tools; and even for patient-specific tissue printing for complex obstetrics cases.
