Acute hemolysis in the course of acquired toxoplasmosis

Abstract

A young girl with serologically confirmed toxoplasmosis developed acute hemolysis with total bilirubin of 12.5 mg%, hemoglobin of 7.3 gm/dl, and spherocytes on blood smear. She had an uneventful recovery.
