Abstract

A three-dimensional (3D) model developed to describe the adsorption processes on a piezoelectric immunosensor resulting from specific antigen-antibody interactions and the relationship with the flow field is presented. The model shows that when using the best location of the inlet, small changes in the inlet inclination velocity will result in small variations in the adsorption rate with no specific trend.
