Abstract

Notommoides albida n. sp. is described from Cameroon and Gabon and compared with the type species, N. pallidiseta Hancock 1986 (from Mozambique), which is re-described. Notommoides Hancock 1986 is re-defined and assigned to the subtribe Trypetina (Trypetini), most mebers of which are leaf miners.
