Abstract
A linear parameter dependent (LPD) approach for designing a static output-feedback (SOF) controller for a retarded linear time-invariant system with uncertain parameters is introduced that asymptotically stabilizes the system and achieves a minimum bound on the H∞ performance level. Assuming that the uncertain parameters of the system reside in a given polytope, a parameter dependent Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) is described which enables the derivation of the required constant gain via a solution of a set of LMIs.
