Abstract

Ummidia mischi sp.n. is described from the three males collected from south Afghanistan (Kandagar). The new species can be distinguished from the closest congener U. ganjinoi (Andreeva, 1968) by the noticeably narrower carapace, the more widely spaced anterior median eyes, the longer palpal tibia and details of the distal part of embolus.
