Abstract
Anti-endothelial-cell antibodies (AECAs) have been described in a number of conditions. However, the exact prevalence of AECAs is not yet known because of the considerable variation in results obtained by different investigators. A recent meeting1 1 The Workshop 'Anti-Endothelial-Cell antibodies' was part of the 4th International Conference on SLE, and was held in Jerusalem, Israel, on 26-31 March 1995. discussed the requirement to standardize the AECA test.
