Abstract
A method for obtaining highly purified subcellular fractions of rat liver is described. The recovery of each fraction approaches 100%. The method is based on differential centrifugation and the use of appropriate concentrations of Triton X-100 and MgCl2 at certain specific steps in the fractionation procedure.
