Abstract

Presenting a major challenge to educational administration and educational technology, this paper suggests a five-part sociotechnical conceptual framework for the missing information technology (IT) in educational administration knowledge base. The framework’s potential as a tool for theory and practice, i.e., for effective design, implementation, and operation of IT in educational administration, is indicated. Major guidelines for action conclude our discussion.
