Abstract
The combination of a metal extension sealed to a glass cryostat enables the use of indium sealed mylar or beryllium windows, resulting in an improved solid angle when the source is immersed in liquid helium. The low cost, low helium consumption, the versatility in tails and interchangeability are the main features of this cryostat.
