N2 - Accumulators charged by means of Solar cell arrays are exposed to overcharge problems because of the uncontrolled source of the energy, the Sun. These problems are described and discussed and several solutions are outlined. A simple and rather useful solution, for the abovementioned problem, is given for certain terrestrial systems. This charging control system is described in details as it is applied to operational systems in which accumulators play an important role as electric energy sources.
