Abstract

It is pointed out that the magnitude of the weak, electromagnetic [and strong (s)] couplings could be related within a composite model for quarks, leptons, and gauge and Higgs particles to a large N of an underlying SU(N). The usual expansion is identified with the 1N expansion of the fundamental confining interactions.
