Abstract
במאמר זה מציע קריאה של דלהי, עיר הבירה ההודית, דרך מוקדי המחאה שפעלו בה בתגובה לתיקון בחוק האזרחות ולשינויים בתקנות מרשמי האזרחים והתושבים בהודו. מהלכים אלו עוררו דיון סוער בסוגיות יסוד הנוגעות לטיבן של הדמוקרטיה ההודית, התשתית האידיאולוגית העומדת ביסודם של שיחי אזרחות מתחרים והקשר בין מאפיינים חברתיים-כלכליים ובין חופש המחאה.
