Abstract
ספר זה יוצא בעקבות קודמו 'רעואל וחבריו -פרשנים יהודייים מביזנטיון מסביבות המאה העשירית לספירה' והוא הספר השני של גרשון ברין על הפרשנות הביזנטית. הספר עוסק ביצירתו של ר' טוביה ב"ר אליעזר 'לקח טוב' לחמש מגילות. ר' טוביה פעל בסלוניקי בעשרות השנים האחרונות של המאה האחת עשרה ועד לכמחצית המאה השתים עשרה והוא למעשה הממשיך המובהק של הפרשנים הביזנטיים הקדומים.
