Abstract
ספר זה מכנס מאמרים פרי עבודתה של סדנת חוקרים בינלאומית שהתקיימה במכון ון ליר בירושלים בדצמבר 2006. במסגרת הסדנה ניהלו המשתתפים דיון רב-תחומי ביחסי הגומלין בין זיכרון והשכחה לבין בניית המרחב ועיצובו לכדי מציאות פיזית שבה מתנהלים חיי היומיום של קהילות שונות. המאמרים שבספר מנתחים מקרים מישראל וממקומות אחרים בעולם.
