Abstract

ʿAbbās al-Mūsawī (1952–92) was one of the founders of Ḥizballāh (Hezbollah) in Lebanon in 1982 and its second secretary general, from 1991 until his assassination by Israeli agents, in South Lebanon, in February 1992.
