Research interests
The research in the laboratory focuses on signal transduction pathways in macrophages which initiate or down-regulate inflammation. A major interest of the laboratory is to understand how certain endogenous sphingolipids are positively or negatively involved in the inflammatory process, in particular by affecting the activity of Pattern Recognition Receptors (PRRs).
