Mechanisms of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) quality control and delivery of misfolded proteins to ER-associated degradation (ERAD). How these processes are regulated by cellular stress and how our basic findings in this area relate to diseases where ER stress and protein misfolding is central, especially neurodegenerative diseases, focusing on models of Huntington’s disease.
